I need a Sea Hare. Wish I had one. I hear they work wonders on Hair Algae.

What size is the tank? Sea hares are hit or miss and if the algae is to long they wont eat it! Also watch out for intakes and pumps.

ya fraggy i would go with the emerald crab much safer bet cause the sea hare is still a nudibranch and if it dies in your tank it could crash it from the toxins and they need a tank over 50 gallons...so i would go with the crab

ps nice blenny

yes Emerald Crab and if you had a yellow tang they eat it within hours. I used to purposely buy hair algae for him.

I am the hair algae king...what would you like to know? Blue legged hermits worked best for me along with big water changes..20% weekly. I've had every animal in my tank...hairs, emeralds, red hermits, zebras, algae blennys, phosban reactor...you name it. The thing that significantly changed the problem was the water. Make sure that you don't have any nutrients in your water and make sure you top off daily.
