thank's guys... now that the tank has cleared up.. its is easy to see how cramped these clowns are.. they will be moving into my 30g. Cube in a few weeks.....
also everything looks good.. the yellow leather frag got blown around a little bit from all the flow... and the rock anemone gets some really good flow....pics later today

Some cool kind of sponge...

I had that sponge before (hitchhicker), grows like a weed and won't die if you take it out of the water like most other sponges. Easy to trim/maintain and it looks kinda cool.

Tanks is looking good! That is a really cool anem too.

im praying these clowns dont come down with anything.. my last few fish i have had the WORST luck.. not saying that they look like they have anything.. and they are eating...

-2 A. Nigripes
-1 yellow leather frag (fraged from a dieing leather.. im not expecting much from this guy)
-1 Green Bubble coral
-Toadstool leather
-Palys (green and plain brown)
-2 Orange rics
-Blue and Red shrooms
-3 Fiddler Crabs
-Hermits and snails
-1 Rock anemone

the clowns are coming out towards the front of the tank now and havent come down with anything! im going away in 2 days.. (goin to Haloween Horror nights!!!)

a little update... im getting nervous.. i leave tomorow and im seeing diatoms...
this was unexpected.. but im not to worried.. ill test it... and if things keep getting worse i'll move some fish around and make room for some coral (this BTW is a GREAT advantage to having multiple tanks..... just in case you need an excuse for some more )
just tested me water and nothing a little cheato cant overcome... so i'll had a handful today.... so when im gone i dont really have to worry about it to much

Well, Josh, I visited my lfs last night and saw a tank full of Flower Anemone Biotope animals.

Flower Anemones were $10.00, Anemone Shrimp were 13.00, Anemone Crabs were 9.99, etc.

yes they are.... the clowns are just hiding.. for the first few days they were very Skitish...
there names are Sandra and Charlie and now they stay out most of the time...
i came back to 1 death in this tank... and 1 death in another tank...
in this tank the yellow leather frag died.. and in my SH tank the smalles SH died...

Today i picked up a bunch of Cluster Dusters that are purple, a pom pom crab, and a pregnant anemone shrimp....that spit out its egg sack prematurly.... maybe she will hold some of the eggs in and they will serve as food...

the tank is doing really well.. i am excited for Christmas.. cause [hopefully] that means Metal Halides also i need to upgrade my lights on my FOWLR so they are suitable for a planted tank (we'll there suitable but i want a better fixture..)

remember how i was saying that i lost the yellow leather frag.. well today i was going through one of my crappy tanks and i found another frag that seems to be doing good! i am acclimating it to the 10g. now... and it is about the size of a pencil eraser.... pics later...

That pom pom is awesome and I like the rock set up to, why didn't you go with the black sand???

didnt want to have to clean it all the time.. and black sand with the blue background would have looked weird.. plus.. better light reflection

first off... can you say 150w MH by christmas?

I have decided to go w/ my original theme....

i found a nudi. in my tank.. it is yellow and looks like this type of yellow sponge in another tank that alot of my coral and stuff came from...
so i took some pics.. then took him out.. and placed him in the tank w/ the yellow sponge.. im wondering if i can keep him alive.. like if the sponge can surive the constant eating and regenerate enough to sustain the nudi...
also..
sadly one of the Fiddler crabs is MIA.. one of them has died.. and the other seems fine.. ... maybe this tank will be filled to the top by the end of the contest...

anyway.. i am going to test my water.. something has to be causing these deaths and now my fish have ich....

so you are going back to the fiddlers. i saw some at the local deathco and they looked pretty neat. im not sure if its worth turning my pico into a species tank for them because of the way the tank is oriented.

yeah.. to be honest.. they are boring... and what i meant was the rock anemones not the fidlers..
but im only planing on 2 of them..

now.. i noticed my clowns hanging out around my anemone shrimp (im guessing they thought it was a cleaner shrimp) so i stuck an extra shrimp in there that i had (remember i said i wasnt going to put a cleaner shrimp in here).. then i decided to stop fooling around and set-up my quarentine... i did this and then tore out all the rock and caught them.. the put them in the quarentine)...
soo the aquascape is a little differnt but not extremely.. im going to try and get some smaller peiced of rock.. the big bolder has GOT to go!!!
i'll let you guys know on how the fish do...
now my tank has to stay fishles for 6-8 weeks!!! :woot woot:

the clowns probably wont go back into this tank and will go straight from quarenting to there new home in the 30g. cube

that sounds like a better plan. what kind of fish are you planning on for the tank now?
