I didnt get any really good pics of the coral b/c they are all on the sand... But this week I am going to glue stuff onto the rocks so it should be soon that you see pics of the coral.. and the tank needs to be cleaned so please excuse the algea:

It looks nice! But that rock on top, in the middle, looks a wee bit weird. Other than that, terrific!

yeah i know i do.. i need to get the best of the best lol... i have been getting pickier with my coral selection form my newb days (used to buy anything that looked ok... now its gotta stick me in the eye lol)

I saw this article, Aquarium Fish: The Candy Basslet (Liopropoma carmabi (Randall, 1963)), and I immediately thought about this thread's discussion of said animal. Very good looking fish! If they were available more often with a much lesser price, it might be an interesting tank inhabitant to watch.

And then I became curious as to this $1000s of dollars fish you were talking about, kinetic. My limited research turned up no vendors so I'm not even sure how much they'd be. At the end of the article there's a vendor in Tampa FL who is selling rare and unusual animals. But it also says "for the high-end reef aquarist." So with that may come a steep and overinflated price tag.

today i cleaned up the tank and took that huge ball of cheato out and used an Aquaclear 20 as a Fuge!
the tank looks alot more open... and cleaner.. pics later!
also im thinking of getting rid of barney.. he is to cramped in here.... he is SOO active, the poor guy.....

ORA order came in today, check back later (unfortunatly i didnt get to palce my order for the clowns... but he did order extra... im going to see what esle he has got.... maybe some coral/fish that peek my interest.. possibly some bangaii's or something)

got some stuff from the LFS but none of it from ORA (almost left with a blue ring though )
anyway i got this anemone, and it was on some caulerpa (along with a few other anemones) Anyway, i asked the guy how mush for the caulerpa.... and he goes $35
i was like NO FRIKIN WAY im spending $35.. so then i ask if i can just have the anemone .. anyway it is orange... it kinda looks like a cold water anemone.. its very small.. like the size of a quarter.. MAYBE...he gave it to me w/ a small peice of caulerpa attached.. he thought it was a majano and thought i was crazy 4 wanting it

Yeah, about the anemone forgot to say this but He went under the rocks for like a week and is now really small and bleached.. Im expecting him to make it but we shall see. Water params are perfect, i think he was getting to much flow

anyway my Sunpod came in today (saved $80 by ordering it and now i can get a better light for my 40B or 50g)
anyway this light runs very cool.. i dont think my temps have changed any... the white LEDs are week... the bulb is deffinatly not yellow more of a whitish blue... ill get pics up later

Don't you love the sunpod? The bulb they give you is great, and I'm really not having any temperature issues either.

yup, the first day i wasnt so impressed but from then on the bulb has been great! my temp runs 81.5 F so thats not bad, comparing to when i had my 150w MH on my 30g. Cube w/out the chiller it was reaching 84... and 85 on hot days
the Yellow Clown goby has not been eating (i forgot to ask them at the store to feed them infront of me ) typical of clown gobbies too darn darn darn!

well IMO the tank looks alot more full since last FTS. I was cleaning yesterday and I nocked the rocks over, i tried to get it back the way it was before but you know how that goes. Also I took the anemone shrimp out, he was annoying the anemones way to much. Also unfortunatly the Bicolor Blenny went carpet surfing :/ Im going to try a glass top or something and then get another fish. I added a frag of colve polyps too. They are doing really well. Pics later

Well, the tank looks alot different than that last FTS
Anyway, I went to the LFS today and picked up a Black Saddle back clown and a Marginated Damsel
I'll post pics once they are in,
Also I bought a featherduster ALONG time ago and I alway thought it was connected to an empty shell. Well the shell wasnt empty and is infact some time of filter feeding clam....
EDIT** I took a video of the tank... now if I could just figure out how to post it

Ok,
well nothing is dead since I got back from my trip!
I went to 3 LFS's today and nobody had anything!
Well they had some stuff but not a whole lot. I picked up a Pink Feather Duster which has yet to open. My favorite LFS is getting a shipment in on monday so i'll update you guys if I get anything (i most likely will, I saw a nice ricordea there but didnt get it, i'll get it on monday)
Also, trying to get too all the LFS's before the cut-off date for coral!!!

The tank is deffinatly at its peak,
I added a small red brain, 2 frags of zoanthids, and an orange/gold ricordea
