The rules say that the max PC light is 40W, but it mentions a few bulbs there that don't quite = 40W.
My question is are the 20W screw in 50/50 bulbs allowed? I would be using 2 of them for the total 40w.

Ok, an exception can be made for two 20w screw in bulbs. This is the only instance where two bulbs are allowed.

Chris, what about the Current-USA dual fixtures? I've got a 12" 2x18 watts, total of 36 watts. Is this not allowed? If not, I've got to place an order for the 40w one pronto!
Thanks.

I'd prefer you use a 40w single bulb fixture, but since they're only 18w bulbs, I don't see any problem with it. Be sure to document the lighting with good pictures.

40w single fixture it is! (Gives me an excuse to make another MD order.)
