I kept up last year about it, then it sorta dissapeared. Did a search and nothing new came up, what happened to this project?

I think Chris could give a more detailed explanation, but I think this one is temporarily on hold while we work on some other development projects first. This is definitely a project we would like to bring to fruition, however, at this time our time is being consumed otherwise.

I know you guys are probably insanely busy, but is there an projected date before even the Proto's come out? I've held off from buying a nano-cube since it was announced, should I continue to wait or just give in? hahahaha my live rock has been cooking for over 5 months.

The supercube is still in the works. It will feature integrated electronics and a touchpanel LCD. Modules such as pH, Alk, Temp, etc etc would be built into the "bus" of the supercube and available as modules.

It takes a lot of design and coding to get these components to work. Luckily, time is on our side. As LCD prices drop, the products can become more and more affordable.

If your main reef focus is on lighting, I would take a good look at the x.70 series that we are offering on some of our custom systems.

They run cooler than ever, produce more light, and feature the latest technology. In my opinion the 12g 1.70 series is the current "supercube".

With so many products rolling out this year, we have our hands full coming up with parts and accessories to fit them.

Make no mistake tho. The development desk next to me is crammed full of circuits, ICs and LCD panels.
