Do the 24 watt Nanocustoms branded lamps fit the Nanocustoms 4.24 dx hood that I have? It's time to change the bulbs!
ccjung
Yes

They are the same size/format. I basically had a batch made for me at the OEM level, so I got a great price, and the quality is on par, or exceeds that of the factory bulbs.

One thing in particular that we got specially formulated for us is the 10000K/Actinic Blue(03). This is a better bulb than the JBJ 10000K/7100K Blue, which is basically a 7100K bulb with a blue filter/pigments in it.

Hope this helps

Chris
On your stie the 18 watt says 10000k/actinic but the 24 watt says 10000k/ 7100k blue. Is that a mistake or did you only do this for the 18watt bulb?
thanks
ccjung
The manufacturer made a mistake on the order and shipped 10000K/7100K only for the 24w model. I expect the correct bulbs in late this week.

Hope this helps

On a 3x18 6NC would you suggest incorporating your new lights into the setup or remain with with JBJ 50/50, Realux Actinic, JBJ 50/50 setup?

Thanks,
Dan

The 24w 10K/Actinic Blue (O3) are now listed on the site.

Dan - For you I would recommend staying as you are, since your third channel is actinic, you can do sunrise/sunset, plus your ratio of colors is balanced at 33/33/33 (Actinic/Daylight/7100K Blue).

These "true" 50/50s are great for stock systems, since they provide actinic that the stock Bulbs dont give.

Once you move up to the Third or Fourth bulb, the stock 5050s help provide good coloration, while the full actinic bulbs provide the health components.

Hope this helps

Hey Chris what is the chance on getting some of these new 50/50's in a square pin format for the current-usa 40watt and 18watt fixtures?
