It is really too bad. Sorry you couldn't enter. I always say the more the merrier. Dosen't mean that you cant still start the 2.5. Just start a 2.5 thread.

I agree set the tank up anyways. Who cares if you're in the contest or not. If you have your heart set on starting a pico - go for it!

2.5 pico's are pretty fun to build. Lot of DIY stuff. This is my first pico and I have had a great time building it. If you are going to build this tank I would suggest a 5.5 gallon tank for a fuge. Or another 2.5 like mine.
