roach0matic

Found an empty, watertight (hopefully) 2.5 leftover from breeding fat tail scorpions.

This is going to be fun....and I thought I was too broke for this contest ATM.
Gilman
I can only hope you are going to give diver dan and his treasure chest a new home as your signature implies.
Reefgeek
YES! I was so hoping you weren't kidding about this!
Travis
Good Luck
roach0matic
Diver dan is in the house for sure. Along with some surprise guests.

Now a question - does anyone know if the dye used in colored aquarium gravel will leach out in saltwater?
Tigahboy
I love that CD!

lmao...
you KNOW I have to make a video of this...with Top of the World by Shonen Knife as the soundtrack.
Gilman
I wonder if a bubbling Diver Dan and Treashurechest is considered "equipment".

You may have to go custom if you want to run an airpump for diver dan and his buddies.

hell no. It's pure "bling" baby. Now sponge-bob on the other hand....I've heard things about his "equipment"

wahhhhhhh!
you have to make an exception for me, as airpumps are the only standardly available means of filtration in my area. Or I can make a airpump out of foam cool.gif

Probably not, but in my experience, it will usually chip off over time, depending on brand (Petsmart's Top Fin brand does this frequently).
Gilman
shiny reflective marbles substrate for the win.

If you don't want to go custom you could have someone blow into the airline tubing when you go to take pics. You wouldn't always need the bubbles.... would you? omgomgomg.gif

LOL This tank has my vote!

Hmmm...Marbles, or rainbow top-fin gravel that will flake off the color. Tough call. I'll flip a coin when I get to petSmart. Or I could use the glow in the dark gravel.

Pure genius! About time I find a use for those damn kids. And the lack of an airpump saves me enough money for a pack of smokes. <3 <3 Gilman

Yes but how do you keep them from floating?

you could silicone the base down.

the kits come with a base sheet usually. e.g. baseball field, moonscape, castle, etc.

you could also just weight it down with glass marbles or plain old sand (how boring).
roach0matic
sweet mother of christ! Legos!!!!!!!
lego castle...lego space station...lego harry potter graveyard duel..possibilities are endless.

I could even make a little lego New Orleans...submerged in my 2.5 idiot-reef!

Bless you tinyreef flower.gif happydance.gif

Heh...I don't think it's possible to get off track in my thread.

I plan on hitting PetSmart and Toys R Us tomorrow evening for livestock laugh.gif
Xytrix01
Can't wait to see the new livestock in your pico! Love the background!
Snoop
MAke it freash water no one will know and with the money you save on the selt buy a string of water proof christmas lights.

UPDATE!!!
roach0matic
Took this FTS today for the check in thread.

Scored the jebo fixture for some pesky daisy polyps. I think the wrong spectrum baby blue look of the junk 50/50 lamp in it is perfect for this tank.

Curiously, there has been no cycle tongue.gif tongue.gif

I guess dan doesn't pee much

Tomorrow sounds like a good day to steal some LR and chaeto from the *big sump* and unveil the awsome custom rock racks. Still looking for a big, nasty, fugly, bite your mama gorilla crab and a couple of large apistia, so keep me in mind if you run across any.
