Thats what I've told myself, sadly my landlord for the condo said NO, unless I want to pay an extra $400 a month for insurance in case it floods.
I love my hobby, but not enough to cough up 400 bucks extra a month

I have a 55 gallon semi reef (easy inverts) small reef safe fish . Keeping salt in Florida is easy as no need to check PH the water here is truly liquod rock . PH is so high that its dark blue on every ph test kit
Also have 55 gallon malawi cichlids which breed non stop and love the ph
going to set up a small tank for dwarf sea horses soon

Lol my uncle used to say same thing . He left upstate NY after he got divorced moved to Keys about a yr ago and he meant it as he has a big backyard pond with cichlids (I just gave him some of my fry) - 4 Marine tanks in his den (he is 15 minutes from ocean and water there is fantastic) and 125 gallon in his backyard patio with nice guppies .
to many tanks for my taste but he meant what he said lol

Hm. A lot has changed since my last post in this. I've got
1: 5 gallon with one betta, plants and a few "pest" snails
1: 10 gallon divided with 2 bettas, plants and a few "pest" snails
2: 10 gallon not divided, one crowntail betta in one, one super delta in the other. Only one is planted at the moment.
1: 10 gallon reef tank. Coral and other inverts only. 2 blue leg hermits, some random snails, a suspected(pet) xanthid crab.
1: 29 gallon freshwater planted tank. 10 neon tetras(upping that to 12 soon) 8 cory cats, 8 male guppies, 5 ottocinclus cats and 1 male sword.
1: 60 gallon. 1 albino tiger oscar, 1 striped raphael and all of the guppies the stores wouldn't take and he has decided scare him too much to eat XD A 4.5" inch somewhat aggressive species of fish hiding in a grove of java fern all day over a bunch of guppy fry. What a baby! Good thing I didn't get him to watch him eat!
Edit: forgot the new tank. 20 gallons with a crawdad.
