I got to say i really hate living in a country who's online stores dont give any real information on refractometers...
I bought one because i am going to attempt a hyposalinity treatment for Ich...... but turns out when i got it now that it has a "fine" scale with a range of 1.015-1.030.... and i need to get my SG down to around 1.009-1.010.... wacko.gif

Is there anything i can do to get the readings i need with this one? or am i horribly screwed?

probably horribly screwed. I'd say return the POS and get a real refrac.

All high quality refractors include a scale down to zero.

Arranged to return it and to get a refund.

I double checked the specs on the site i ordered from and what i got was not even the same refractometer on the site.
Site specs even showed 0-100 scale.
