Just saw this:

Looks like ecotech has done a pretty good job about a new pump being released under wraps. They plan to show it next week at MACNA.

What could it be since the MP20 was discontinued?

Stay Tuned!!!

I'm excited!

I hope it's a MP60 or MP80.

I have two mp10w with battery back up on a 375 tank.

I think I need more flow.

WOW!! 375 gallon tank?? Do you have a tank thread?

I was just about to post this! laugh.gif

I hope Reef Builders is right and it's an mp100. That would be just awesome.

Yeah... The way some people go nuts over having more flow, I wonder how that would do on a BC29??? tongue.gif

laugh.gif Way over do.

I already have two mp20's, an awesome skimmer, two modded MJ1600s, and a minster return pump so I'm guessing I have enough flow laugh.gif

I really hope they come out with a air bearing micro motor dry end. higher speeds lower heat and profile

something like this

another good idea for them to do is a direct drive radial turbine . which would make it shaft less if they bonded the impeller straight to the magnet using the perimeter of the pump housing as a teflon roller ring. It would also really cut down on the size of the wet side

UPDATE:

Looks like Eco-Tech is introducing the MP60es. It is intended for large tanks, sorry pico owners!

Here's a link with a video of this beast in action:
