So for one of the tanks I work with on a regular basis there were 4 tunze streams (6101s I think). In less than a year 3 have just quit working along with the power supplies. Tunze has been great about this and replaced them with the newer ones (the turbelles) but the final old stream may have just kicked it and one of the new ones is having problems now as well. It pulses by itself when not connected to the controller. On for a second than off for 10-15. Interesting, but not desired.

I've had no problems with Tunze support and they always rectify the problem quickly, but is this normal? I can keep contacting support for replacements as they quit working, but other pumps (on the same electrical circuit) don't have these problems. It's a bit of a hastle.

Essentially, will I eventually get pumps that don't quit on me or should I move on to something else? I should note that the Vortech pumps are unfortunately not an option. 2/4 sides are overflows, the other 2 are visible panes.
