Hello everyone =)

I'm new here and so far I really like it, I do have a question though and hope it doesn't sound too dumb. Does anyone know if using bleach to clean dead live rock (I purchased some) is the correct way to clean it or is there another way??

thank you!!!

I like using muratic acid then doing a bleach bath. Definitely do it outside and dont let the rock sit in the acid more than 10 min or it will eat a bunch of it away.

Just curious why do u want to bleach the rock? Why not just wash it off? I've used dead rock many of times by just rinsing the extra crud off. Making the rock white seems alittle odd cause algae and coraline will grow on it anyway. Also I doubt there is an organism that survives in the air would die submergered in salt water. So I'm curious why one would want to bleach it in the first place.
