This item is on sale and I'm considering buying it... however, I want to be sure it's going to accomplish what I need. I have 10" high x 20" Long AIO Frag tank that I want to grow frags in. The lighting that is on sale: http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com/prod...fm?pcatid=21461

Would this be sufficient for my needs? I don't want to "hang" a MH from my ceiling and this has very little heat as stated by those who reviewed the item.

All input welcome...

Or should I just upgrade and get the AquaticLife T5 HO 4-Lamp Light Fixtures w/ Lunar LEDs????

Yeah I'd like to know as well. I was wondering about this lighting system.

Well... I won't get to know. Went to tropicorium and they sold me a 24" 250W MH odyssea with double 65w t5 HO lamps on both sides including moonlit LED's for $239 out the door. This was a good unit and I think it was a pretty fair price. It was so close to the other price I was about to pay that I just went with it since I've had success with MH's so far.

Not sure but that price seems a bit steep for what you paid for an odyssea light... check aquatraders.com. the same light is being sold for $169 free shipping. U said it was the odyssea light, right?

What size tank do you have? I went from mh to t5ho on my 20 long and no more heat issues, little evap, and great bulb choices

Hope this helps

Hey Eliphant, how was the coral growth/coloration when you went from MH to T5????
