I tested my water today and everything is fine except the Mag levels it reads as follows 2100 ppm.
My questions is what is the best way to lower Mag levels? TIA

If your not dosing Mag, I would re-test... If it comes back again high... Get another test kit

To answer your question... yes, a water cahnge would lower it. I don't know of any salts with that kind of mag levels.

But it sounds more like a bad test kit to me.

What test kit brand are you using?

Turns out I was mixing up the bottles slap.gif , was using reagent Mag B first and then adding the reagent Mag A and now it is at 1200 ppm. And Im using the Mag Aqua Test Kit from ELOS.

Sorry About that wacko.gif
