I'm still learning here so this may seem like a weird question.... Do
snails get stuck upside down on their shells sometimes and need to
be flipped over or should they be left alone? I've had one guy that
was on his 'back' all day and wasn't sure if he was still alive or not so
I flipped him over and he went on his merry way! Now there's another
one that seems stuck too. Just wondering.

On another completely strange and amusing note; I noticed a stomatella
snail shooting a hmmm umm 'white substance' into the water the other
day......yeah, that was different. Anyone ever see that? Thanks. Jim.

Astrea and Trochus snails can't right themselves if they overturn.

as for the "stomie", you witnessed a "spawning event".
