My best guess is that your shrimp molted? Is it white/clear?

he molted. they do that from time to time, also when stressed like being added to a new tank.

Picture's definitely a molt. That's pretty common when when they experience a change going into a new tank, especially in salinity. The shrimp's probably hiding until his new shell gets a little stronger. Once he gets settled he will molt every few weeks as normal growth.
You can remove the molt if you want. They normally get eaten/broken down eventually, but removing it early can't hurt.
Second pic is a bristle worm. Good scavenger, will multiply quickly if there's stuff for them to eat.

my peppermint shrimp swims upside down sometimes so I wouldnt worry about that. If hes laying down on his back and doing it then ya its molting. Did you acclimate the shrimp?

yeh i acclimated my shrimp, i think it was just hes time to molt cause the other one hasn't molted and i have a few crabs i haven't bothered to catch will they hurt my shrimp?

It's not necessarily that you didn't acclimate well, it's just normal for them to molt after acclimation. That's definitely a molt. Reef safe crabs should not bother the shrimp.
