So I am wondering if would be safe to use either a 4 pin (molex) connector or one of these powerpole connectors in line from my ballast (meanwell) to my LEDs. Current will be 48vDC at .75-1A

The site says that the 15amp connection is for use with 16-18 gauge wire so would it work?

I think Dave_uk used molex connectors on his build and I have seen others use audio connections of some sort.

I read however that the molex connectors are only rated to 12v 11A, and the powerpole connectors seem to be used in mostly 12vDC application as well. Is there any reason why low amperage 48v DC current should not be run through any of these connectors?

powerpole connectors will be OVERKILL for LEDs not to mention ugly as sin.

DC jacks found in DC power supply from radio shack would be sufficient

RCA audio/video connectors work well also. Powerpoles are major overkill.
