Okay, I've got a few questions on torch corals.
1. Will it be okay in a 2.5g? ( most important)
2. How much flow? I have a hydor pico powerhead. 400 power.
3. Any problems between torchs, hammers, and duncans?
4. Sweeper problems? More info please.
Thanks for answering my noob questions!

When torches inflate they can have long tentacles, mines are probably 4 inches plus. I have an MP20 on 75% in a 29 and it gets lots of water movement, its cool to watch them swirl around. Im pretty sure you cant be having the torch frogspawn or hammer touch, they sting. I lost a 40plus polyp colony of zoos from 15 minutes of touching the torch.

I wouldn't put a Torch in a 2.5g.
Their tentacles stretch out pretty far and they can pack quite a sting.

Okay. My plan was to have rock cover my ph and have a gsp lawn. Like the entire bottom ofthe tank covered, like a sand bed. I'm just looking for a cool coral to place on the rock. Elegance?

How bout a nice leather coral like a tyree sarcophyton (will get big, but you can frag and sell the frags to make more bux and upgrade to a bigger tank)? Maybe an acan colony? Or you can buy a rock with some nice ricordeas. You'll encounter simiar problems with the torch as you would with the hammer. The Elegance is a fussy coral, not many people have long term success, requires good lighting and gets pretty big.

If you do decide on elegance get the aussy over indo it's more hardy, less colorful though but will last.
