well, I let him go last night after the 1st snack... I normally thaw their food and feed them increments... tonight there was 3 increments... nobody seemed to care much about him when he was in the box, think again...

at first, the McKosker's messed with him but he held his ground pretty well... then, I got a surprised... the Hooded started chasing everyone and focused his attention on the Attenuatus for a quick second... I didn't expect this at all... the Hooded normally messes with the female turned male HI Flame every so often... I turned off the lights and left the PowerBrites for a few minutes to diffuse the aggression... the Attenuatus started peeking out again and when the McKosker's got close, he started flashing them, both the smaller one and the larger one... I think he'll dominate both McKosker's if he can somehow get on the good side of the Hooded... lights are all off now and I'll manually turn them on tomorrow for more observation... wish me luck... man, it was awesome sight seeing the Attenuatus flash, even with just the PowerBrites on...

This thing is jsut incredible!
Do you like the Filamented Flasher Wrasse? I plan ong etting that for the 125.
Thank you... I like the Filamented as well but I just don't have enough room for more wrasses... I'm saving some room for Rhomboids and Laboutei...

Beautiful fish. I love a nice wrasse.
I've been eyeing the McCosker's trio in the DD.
Thank you... it's definitely a nice wrasse... I had a trio of McKosker's before... I still have two left...

If my reef wasn't open top I'd get one... flashers are jumpers, and will jump, 100% if you don't have a covered tank.
they will for jump... I just double checked the back screening of the canopy to make sure there are no holes they can jump out of...

Beautiful fish! I pretty much love every type of flasher available in the trade. They're colorful, very active, and best of all reef safe! I have a McCosker's in my 24G and he's doing great. Lots of personality and coloration. I'd love to add a 2nd type, however in a tank this size most would oppose that. I stand correct on my assumption right?
yes, I wouldn't add another flasher in there... your best bet would've been adding the wrasses at the same time... right now, the McKosker's have established itself in the tank...
