In the next few weeks, I am thinking about adding some sexy shrimp and a clown goby to my currently coral-less pico tank. I've been told to add fish before corals so any nitrogenous compound spiking won’t harm the corals. However, I've read that both clown gobies and sexy shrimp tend to live on or around different types of coral. Should I add a few frags and then add the livestock, or go with the fish then coral philosophy?

I bet when you buy the clown goby he wont be sitting in some nice coral and probably hasn't been since shipping. Buy the fish, wait a week or two.. buy some coralz... wait a week or two.. buy some shrimp.. wait a week or two.. feed the fish somewhere in those 2 weeks..
