Hi all,

I have a 33 gallon reef tank that I plan to focus mainly on corals. That said there is a TON of rock in this tank.

55+lbs

I currently have 2 Picasso Clowns and that's it.

I was initially going to add a Helfrichi Firefish ... but the more I read about these fish I am starting to think its not the right fish. They are very skittish and hide a lot...not to mention they love to jump.

I have a 3 year old...I have a feeling he might scare the firefish on occasion. Opinions?

If the firefish is not a good choice....what would you recommend? I love rare cool looking fish. However, with a more active and outgoing personality.

Any input greatly appreciated.

My tank is 34g. I have a Purple Firefish that is great. He is scared easily. But it's not that big of a deal. If he gets scared he'll go to his hole then come out a few minutes later. He's out in the open most of the time though.

I love my laboutei wrasse. Misc other reef safe wrasse are jus as good I imagine too, like the Lineatus (sp?) or Rhomboids (sp?). He swims around out in the open all the time, is slightly skiddish, a jumper as well, but I also have a firefish which CONSTANTLY hides.

What about a gramma, dottyback or pseudochromis? There are many bright colors there. Really nothing is brigher than the royal gramma! And they're all over the tank too.
