Do you have to feed green bubble tip or Rose anemone corals or can they survive on straight metal halides?

Not everyone feeds their anemones, but most feed once a week or every two weeks. Try SMALL pieces of any seafood you find at the supermarket. I have been reading alot about people having trouble with silversides lately, especially larger piceces, but I have never had any problems with silversides. But I do not feed my anemones silversides anymore, because of the problems I have read about. Good Luck

Thanks...I had one that I killed, I was in a hurry and did a quick water change before leaving town. i mixed some salt water up had the tank salinity and new water pretty close, but did not have time to ensure water temps were close...and I just dumped the new mixed water into the tank, and the next day the bubble tip was in really bad shape and died about a day later. I guess it is very important to ensure water temp is close to tank temp?

I feed silversides. No problems with them here.
