Full Version: The tiniest mean acro crab I've ever seen

I was trying to find out why a cultured milli was dying at the top, and for the life of me I couldn't figure it out. Then when I picked up the colony the polyps retracted a bit and I saw to tiny white eyes, this thing is literally the size of a corallite on a milli. Looks a lot bigger on camera (giggity) but in person all you really see are two white dots for the eyes. You can even see its little trail of destruction.

What these things love to do is eat away at a colony until it gets an infection, and then they'll stealthily ninja their way over to the nearest next colony and do the same. If you've had a few acros die one after another before in when your water parameters are all good then chances are pretty good you've got one of these... They're nearly impossible to freaking spot on new colonies too unfortunately.

That is spooky! What part of the world did the colony come from?

I think that one came in from Indo, but those crabs are everywhere unfortunately.
