I want to compile a list of corals/anemones that can tolerate being touched by an Elegance coral without any ill effects. Please share your experience. Thanks.
1. Meat Coral
(Acanthophyllia deshayesiana); touching with no negative impact.

The only compatibility I've seen with elegance corals is their inability to stay alive...
That one looks great though, how long have you had it?

All euphyllia have long strong sweeper tentacles, that cause problems to corals placed within range and that range can be at least 5 inches. It is all part of survival of the fittest.

The tank just hit its first year's mark so this Elegance have been doing very well for about 8 months now. I've had a few that didn't survived including ones from Australia. I eyed this particular one for over a month at a LFS before making a purchase to ensure that it will survive. It has grown considerably since and almost half of its body is hidden beneath a nearby ledge. It is very aggressive, but it seem that there are sessile organisms that tolerate and are immune to its sting.

That is really cool, congrats on getting one that lived! Even if they're really aggressive having such a unique coral in a tank must be totally worth it, I love the field of rics too
