I think I finally found my light...and it's not out of stock! My tank is 20'' long but with the brackets it should fit.

Just waiting on the approval of my fello reef peeps! Thanks

Well, for on the cheap it may work.
A single reflector isn't as good as individual but, once again, it's inexpensive.

Upgrade the stock bulbs asap.
ATI Blue and Blue+ = good
AquaSun = good
Fiji Purple = popular , but I have never used
GE 50/50 or 75/25 i think? = popular, but a little yellow for my taste.

Reef Geek is a good place to purchase upgrade bulbs and you can speak to a human if ya want.
They have been pretty helpful in my experience.

I may get one of these for a Ric / LPS 20L.
Give it a review if ya wind up getting it.

Your welcome.

just don't take my advise as 100%.
Get a couple more opinions, search Google for reviews of that fixture before ya pull the trigger.

I think that would work just fine over a 10g, I say go for it!
It's true that a single reflector behind all bulbs isn't as good, but I don't think that would be a problem over a 10g, esp since you'll have 4 bulbs.
I agree that you should probably upgrade the bulbs.

Wheetabix also has a thread on "T5 info" with specific bulbs and pics.

just a little fyi for ya there...
DimePieceReef
Not too many reviews on this light...but the one's I have seen are good. Thanks everyone!

The light shouldn't be too bad for your 10g. Like everyone has stated above it does not have individual reflectors but it should be too bad since the tank is so shallow.
I will have to suggest to replace the original bulbs just because they are not true colors.
My PC light from them is very well built but the bulbs suck.

Theres one major design flaw of this thing, but on a 10 gallon it isnt much of a big deal. The light switches for the bulbs and moonlights are right next to the track that you slide the legs on to adjust them. So one leg will hit the light switches and not go any farther. The lighting fixture MAY sit slightly off center (i had the same one over a 10gallon using the legs but i cant remember). Now i just use it sitting on top of a tank without the legs.

Looks like an Oddysea light fixture... I have read good and bad reviews on those.

Let us know what you think!

It is, i have the same one ordered from aquatraders. Bought it for a 10 gallon project that got abandoned real fast.
The fixture runs on my fuge 14 hrs a day and still kicking. Runs hot, and put out a "break in" smell for awhile. But no fires so thats good.
mavalos01
That's an Odyssea light fixture. I used to own one exactly like it , except for the fact that mine was 36" for my 40Breeder. I never had any problems with it and everything worked great. Like Mojorizn advised, I changed the stock bulbs to ATI as well and the light provided good coral growth. I didn't have the problem nemmy stated above but it did get some-what hot, at least hotter than other fixtures I've owned, that was about it. Just buy good quality bulbs and you'll be good to go!

Thanks for the heads up reef peeps! I plan on getting a CUC in a few weeks, then a few weeks later after that two clownfish then a few weeks later after that Ill start with some softies... but Ill make sure I change out the bulbs b4 I start with the coral. Thanks again!

So far so good. Doesnt seem to give off too much heat. I like the LED lights too. I leave them on 24/7. Heres a thread of a few pics with the fixture and the stock lights.

The only complaint I have is that the fixture doesnt lay completly flat on the mounting legs...but it is still sturdy. Ill try and post a pic to show you what I mean. Keep in mind that this is a 24'' fixture and my tank is only 20'' long. So Im cranking the mounting legs pretty tight. Not really a big deal IMO.
Im still deciding which light combo I want to go with. Im thinking 2 blue plus 1 figi purple and 1 aquablue special.
Ill be sure to update with more shortly.
