After much research and also trying to stay at a reasonable price...I finally found my light! biggrin.gif What do you guys think? Im only a week into the cycle and this light is for a 10L. I plan on having a nice CUC(including a fire shrimp), two clownfish and some soft corals. In that order. I would like to get a nem but still need to do some more research. Your thoughts?

I suggest avoiding a power compact fluorescent and getting a T5HO fluorescent fixture, like the current nova extreme slr. T5s are more efficient and last longer than PCs, in addition to having greater bulb choices (in general).

I did look into the T5HOs and that one specifically but did not fit my budget at the moment. Ive seen reef pics on this site with the same light and theyre tank looks great. One that comes to mind was Tashyar.

Do you think Ill have problems with this light?

Should be good if you stick to softie's like that tank. nem probably won't fly.

Thats all I plan on doing for now. Finding a 20'' light at good value was difficult... and let me mention I couldnt have it no wider than 7.5'' because my HOB took up 2 inches. Plus I also wanted a Lunar light. A nem was just a thought not thought out. Not a nec at the moment. I plan on going bigger one day. Just want to start out small and Ill continue to do more research. This site has me at a great start. Ive been on it non stop for the last week.

I want to post some pics but Im having trouble doing so.
DimePieceReef
Ok. Just jot anemail saying my light is out of stock. Ive looked at the other threads with 10 gallon lighting. Every light that is recommended is out of stock! Im going crazy right now! Help!

Save up for it, you'll be better off and have more stocking options.

Thats the same one i linked and the same one that i have. And you dont want to buy mine, i broke the legs by accident hahahah.

It runs pretty warm but works good. The bulbs arent the highest quality though, make sure you can buy upgraded ones for it. I never looked into it.

Yeah it is, so is the one you linked. Its the exact same thing as what i have. Odyssea has changes its name like 100 times, but made the same product. I think they used to be Jebo? God knows what else..
