Okay this is weird...
My tank has been under some stress over the last 4-5 days. I'm not sure why, my water parameters are fine, but I've lost 3 fish and my cleaner shrimp, and some corals look rough while the hardier ones are fine. Anyway, my rose BTA split last thursday, I assume as a reaction to the same stress that has everyone else flipped out. The 2 nems were at opposite sides of the tank for the most part, but last night I noticed one part was inching closer to the next. At one point it let go and the current took it closer to its other half. This morning I noticed they were only about a foot apart, and I just got home from work and guess what? It looks like they have melded into one anemone again. So strange! I know its not just one half because its back to its old size. I could not get it to eat while it was 2 halves, and each part did lots of moving around the tank like an unhappy nem will do. Is this possible? Can they rejoin halves and be one nem again?
