So I picked up my 20H yesterday and I'm getting ready to get it started and one thing I'm doing for sure is a HOB filter into a fuge mod. I know the aquaclears are the defacto standard, but has anyone had success with the older whispers? I ask because my tank came with a whisper 30 (the one that uses a bio bag not the new cartridges. I know the black box means I can see it all, but that's okay, and you can adjust the flow with the knob on the intake tube. Just wondering if anyone has used this filter this way.
