Ok so the tank has been going great and fish are doing fine, a couple zoas and mushrooms are doing well too, But the issue im having is the diamond goby is creating a cloud of dust all the time , it has been going on since hes been in the tank for a month. I thought he would make a home and mellow out but not him is is constantly moving and sifting sand.
My questions are, is there something i can do to clear it up faster ? Like more filter floss or would a skimmer help? its drivivng me nuts
24 gal nano cube with a kor 1 and a surface skimmer
Thanks alot

If he's tossing the finer particulate into the water column then the floss should catch it. Eventually only the heavier bits of substrate will remain. Vacuuming your substrate during a wc might help as well.

A skimmer will help catch the small particulates. The Diamond Goby sifts sand to find food and will not stop.

Good luck, my gold head goby was the same way. for a year I tried everything; filter floss, more circulation, less circulation - but nothing. My water was allways crystal clear for the 5 minutes of daylight in the tank, after that - snowstorm.
