I think these are baby snails but I wanted a some confirmation. I recently added a couple of ceriths and nerites.

These small white circles are on my glass (about 20 or so). They have a thin white outline with kind of a yellow/creamish center.

Thanks.

Looks like algae in the picture! smile.gif

Does the foot part of the "snail" come directly out of the center, or does it look like the foot part comes out of only one part of the shell? Also, is the shell pointy, rounded, or flat?

Now, if there is no "visible" shell, due to the pattern, it could be eggs of some sort.

There is no visible shell. The yellow part is in the very center on most.

I agree that they're probably nerite eggs. You can just scrape them off with a razorblade (assuming thats glass and not acrylic...)
Poodges
Do I want to scrape them off? Assuming that some of them won't make it, why isn't this a good thing?

You don't have to. Many snail eggs don't develop.

I agree that those are nerite eggs. I think they have a good chance of hatching because they are in SW...

I have these on the glass of my tank as well. I'm hoping they'll develop into snails because I could sure use them!
