hey guys/gals I've got a nova extreme pro that I just replaced the bulbs on yesterday and I noticed that since I changed out the bulbs that two of the bulbs don't light up. in order from front to back it would be the 2nd and 3rd light. I switched the bulbs around to make sure it wasn't just the bulbs but the bulbs seem to not be the issue. The weird thing was that it was just one bulb (the 3rd spot) that wasn't firing then I switched them around and now the 2nd bulb does fire too. Oh and sometimes when I turn it off then on the 3rd bulb will flicker for a second then go out right away. anyone have any ideas?

Try new bulbs first though...because different systems require concurrent power. If one of the bulbs has a problem, it may not allow the others to fire properly.

Makes sure total wattage is being properly represented as well....

Good luck.

Unplug it from the wall for 30 seconds then plug it back in and try to fire it up.
If it still doesnt fire you have a bad bulb somewhere.

Had the same problem with a bad bulb, all bulbs on that ballast wouldnt fire. Changed the bulb out none of them would fire. Unplugged it, plugged it back in and they fired up.

konalua and nemmy looks like you were right, I was taking apart the fixture making sure the wires were all connected and then I had the brilliant idea to see if my old bulbs worked. needless to say after trial and error and a lot of frustration I managed to single out the one bulb that wasn't working properly. It was weird because when I had that bulb in 2 bulbs wouldnt work. Oh well, glad I got that resolved. thanks everyone.
