I finally had to remove the 2 in my tank that were melting, they just got wat too bad to leave. I took out the rock and removed them with a razor, but now there are 2 buds about the size of a pencil eraser in the same place the others were removed (I am trying to get a picture of them). Hopefully these will continue to grow and be healthy.

those should grow into new rics. yumas can get pretty mangled and still survive. ime any little piece of foot seperated from the parent will turn into a new yuma relatively quickly.

I am with Nemo on this Aquacultured is the only way to go with the high end ones. I bought my hot pink from a guy who had it for eight years and fragged it about 50 times! The mother is now about 5+ inches across!! Very sensitive to temperture change, particularly when decreasing! Notice the mouth start to get very loose last time I had a heater fail! Now I run two!
