Hi Everyone,

My first post. This site is so helpful! Just started my 12g NANO that I bought from a very nice guy and he also gave me some frags. I am a newbie.

I forgot to ask what this was.

Can you please identify the below in the middle of the screen. Its small and green. Color is deceiving as the blue actinic light was on when I took the pic. It is really light cream with green tips. About the size of quarter.

Can you please confirm that this is a GSP. Its on purple coraline. Can I scrape the coraline off the back wall and glue to a rock?

Thanks for your help!

Hopefully this works

another try

Thats GSP growing on the back wall. Its growing on a purple mat which is part of the GSP.

I would just leave it where it is, or if you like you could scrape it from the false wall.

The other green thing looks like it could be a mushroom or a ric.

Welcome!!!

That is GSP. Actually if you look closely you will notice that there is like a puplish colored Matt that the GSP grows on. If you carfully peel using like a flat cc or something flat and sturdy, it should peel right off the wall. At which point you could place on the LR, anywhere that you choose!

Goodluck!

Thank you very much.
Is there a good website to compare the thoughts on the green buttom. It may be a green ricodea?
