I've been looking for a tank that I could easily fit into my room without taking any needed space; I don’t have room for a stand and need the space on the top of my dresser. However, on marinedepot they have this frameless 12g's that are approx 36" long. What a coincidence... that’s how wide my chest of draws is... a few feet away from the foot of my bed, 4 feet tall. It would fit perfectly here just below my flat screen and have a great viewing angle (when I’m lying in bed).

My question is, being only 9 inches tall and so wide. What could I put in here? I'd like a yasha goby and shrimp pair, maybe a clown goby? If I go with this tank id really like to be able to leave the top open as any type of cover (I think) would take away from the aesthetics.

Thanks for your input

sure, those would work.
Id go for clown pair because its 36" of swimming space.
Nice to have an active swimming fish.

i'd love to be able to do a clown pair. Do you think 8 inch width and 9 inch height would be enough for them?
