I just got my ReefKeeper Lite and was hooking my ATI PM up to it and was wondering what my lighting schedule should be?What time should my first 2 bulbs come on and go off?What time should the remaining 4 bulbs come on and go off?This is a new setup its a 50g 24x24x20 sps dominant tank and no unfortunately its not rimless its an acrylic tank and yes its eurobraced........ok stop throwing the tomatoes... I know that sucks but I needed 3/8" for my 2 mp10s to be able to work on this setup so its all ecotechs fault.

Keep a dawn dusk cycle of maybe 1 hour between the main four and the initial 2 (which should be blue or some other subdued bulbs). So if you want a total light cycle of 10 hours, you would put the main bulbs for 8 hours and start them one hour after the initial 2. The actual start times should accomodate whenever you have the longest time to enjoy the tank; my tank lights turn on only at 12 PM.

Actinics 11:00PM-8:00PM, Full Daylight & Actinics 1:00PM-6:00PM, Moonlights 8:00PM-6:00AM,
Refugium Light 7:00PM-8:00AM

Do ReefKeeper Lite package includes ALC module? if not what they come with?

I'm thinking of get one to set sunrise and sunset for my LED lighting !

Nope, they do not come with the ALC, and what they come with depends on the package. Digital Aquatics site.

Im running a 6x39 T5 over a 40B.

9 hour cycle

2 bulbs for two hours, then all six 4 hours, then back to two for the remaining 3 hours.

so the first two are on for 9 hours total with the 4 comin on somewhere in there...lol


Using an RKL as well.
