Full Version: new colt coral not fully attached to rock.

Ryan I
I finally got my colt coral in the mail last thursday, and was disappointed to find that it seems to be only half attached to the rock it came on. It seems to have a really hard time standing up and inflating. I've moved it around a few times and messed with the flow to try to get it to stand right.....but it just keeps tipping over and lying there. So far it hasn't been able to get stood up once.

So now i'm wondering what to do to fix this:
1. Try sewing back to the rock
2. Cut it completely off and re-attach it by sewing it onto the rock
3. Leave it alone

If anyone could give me some input as to what action i should take, i'd love the help because i do not want to flush another $40 down the toilet!!!!!!

I Also noticed that it came with some of the branches looking kinda shredded...not melty like colts usually do, but like they're ripped up.

I would see if you could wedge it with another rock. I had the same thing happen with one of my toadstools and it reattached. Try not messing with it too much because that's when they get pissed and detach. You could also use some reef glue or a rubberband to hold it in place

well one side of it was starting to look pretty nasty so i fragged of the healthy part and wedged it in between some little rocks. do you know about how long it will take for it to attach?

couple weeks it should be attached well enough
