For five months now my tank has been running and going quite well. I am using a JBJ 28 gallon HQI series Nanocube. I have an auto-topoff system with fresh RO/DI water, and a gravity fed ATS filter. Heres a quick journal of my progress. . .

1st month - Tank cycled, Diatom bloom, added CUC (after completed cycle)

2nd month - added Montipora Capricornis frag, heater crashed killing coral. No other fatalities

3rd month - weekly water changes ect. . . kinda boring

4th month - added small Purple Kenya Tree, and small Frogspawn

5th month - nothing yet just staying on top of weekly WC and tests

In a few weeks I plan to buy a Rose Bubbletip Anemone. I have read a couple books (Ron Shimek and Wilkerson)on the subject and understand how to properly care for them. I have also spent time at a fellow reefers house to learn more about proper care for an anemone. Granted his is a Carpet anemone it still has similar needs. My biggest problem is finding a reputable and trustworthy breeder or store. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you are like me and the LFS sucks, online is the way to go where are you located? If your in the west Blue Zoo Aquatics is great, in the east Liveaquaria is closer. If your in between go with Bluezoo. Call and talk with them about what kind of nem you want they are good people and unlike Liveaquaria you actually talk to the people that get their hands wet.

Sorry no where close to me, I have one that is about to split and I would have given it away.
Anyway I do not like to buy anemones on line, because they ship poorly and you can not tell what your getting. If I did not have a LFS that could order me one I would go with liveaquaria.com. Hope that helps.

That close I would just order from liveaquaria, short trips make for happy anemone

I appreciate the offer as I hate buying livestock online. Anemones are particularly delicate and shipping is stressful on them. I found a frag swap coming up in Cleveland, and I hope to get an anemone there. With any luck I'll get one soon. I am also seeking two juvenile Percula Clownfish.
