I have a question about feeding my dwarf fuzzy lion...About 2 weeks ago I traded my pair of clowns in for a really nice dwarf fuzzy lion. He is nice and fat and active. For the last two weeks I have been trying to get him to eat frozen krill and silver sides and he is totally uninterested. At first I thought it was because he ate my cleaner shrimp, but the shrimp miraculously reappeared. I'm seriously concerned that he is not eating, but his physical appearance and activity level all seem quite normal. I've been trying to spot lionfish poop as a fish that poops is a fish that is eating, but I haven't seen any.

Today while researching MORE, I read conflicting reports that lionfish will eat hermit crabs. Some people said yes, some people said no. I have hermits in my tank, but I have no idea how many. Do you think he is eating the hermit crabs?

I'm going to go ahead and give him some live feeder shrimp and then try and start the weaning process over...but if he's eating the hermits, then I guess I should wait to wean him onto frozen...

Suggestions would be most helpful...

Thanks!

i would start with live feeders and start the weaning process over again. also dont feed krill it causes lock jaw in predator fish
