Will a school or 3 or 4 Red Spotted Cardinals fight with 1 Orange Lined Cardinal?

Depends on the order that they're added.

I tried a small trio of red spot cardinals before and were NOT able to keep them alive. I know it may be tempting, but I would advise you to go with the orange-lined cardinals over the red spots. The red spots will perish with time.

Agreed, red spots have a horrible success rate. I know very few people who could keep them long term.

I will just get 2 more Orange Lines instead of the school of Red Spots.
