I got new 4 headed frogspawn yesterday and now I am worried. Two of the heads are tring to open up extending out about a 1-2cm, the 3rd head is staying in but looks clean for the most part, and the 4th head you cant even see the little tips. When I last saw it yesterday you could atleast see the little tips even if they weren't out. It has stringy slime flowing from the edges and has a layer of slime over the whole head. The slime is white. My water checks fine. Any thoughts on the situation or hope for it to come out?

might have bumped or disturbed the heads when taking it out of the LFS tank or putting it in your tank. They usually heal up themselves, I would keep it in a low-gentle flow area while its getting used to the tank. Make sure there is enough flow to carry away any waste/slime that it produces though.

It’s in a low flow turbulence area in the middle of my 24nc with the 72w stock hood. The tank is young, only 6 weeks since the end of cycle.

When my corals are sliming, I use the turkey baster to gently clean it. Don't touch it tho, but I like to get the goo out of the tank. See how it does in a day or two after it gets used to the light cycle and calms down from transport.

Used the turkey baster to push some air across it. That cause some long strings of slime to come off, the tips are still covered. After reading others post I fear it might be infected with something that might spread to the others
