Alright, when I bought this coral, it had green hair growing out of it.
As you see it now, it has holes at the top of each of those cone type things coming off it.
Also these white little worm looking things on and around it, you can see it a bit...

Sorry for the image quality, iPhone camera. sad.gif

Yep, that's the one!
Thanks, I found some pics of it open, and it looked exactly like that.

How long does it usually take to open up?

Depends on how bad you shocked it, should open over night.

GSP are generally very hardy, and grow like crazy in proper conditions. ive heard it been called the herpes of the sea for that reason happy.gif

Water is normal.
I did have a problem with my heater actually.
It went all the way up to 87 for over 12 hours before I caught it.

Could this have effect?

Is it possible that its my lighting?
Seems like an easy coral to keep.

This is a JBJ 12G DX, lights are on for 12hrs a day.

your lighting is fine for GSP

be a little more specific on what your water parameters are

and the heat problem could have done something, but im not too certain

hope things go well smile.gif

Alright, thanks.
Any knowledge of the white worms?
It seems to be actually living in the corals.
