Just spotted this on a rock since redoing my aquascaping. Anyone have a clue as to what it might be?

Hmm, maybe Porites, which tend to be the most common like that. It looks like there are some polyps here and there, too.

Maybe a sponge? I have something like that on my LR but its more of a yellow color.

+1 to the porites that looks hard to the touch in the picture

Its dead really maybe a alviopora or cyphastrea, monti, but it is gone

Advertising? Thats a picture from my tank from yesterday. I redid the rockwork 2 days ago and just spotted whatever it is. I also kinda figure its dead but wanted to know for sure. Oh sorry, I see what you mean now....

Nothing wrong. Another good site that I use for photo hosting is photobucket. Give it a shot, if you haven't already.

Yeah nothing wrong that i know of.. just the XXXXX.com on the pic threw me a bit.
