Hey,
I have some new rock and it came with some weird jelly like substance with all these white dots in it, can anyone please help me identify what it is?
On the picture its on the right hand rock about halfway down.
Thanks in advance for any help.

While I can't help ya identify the "jelly" i would suggest leaving a little more space between the rock and glass. Makes cleaning way easier....

Yeah I had read that thread and wondered, but no it doesn't move at all. Don't know, let it be and see what happens I guess.

Try pokin at it?
If it is a flatworm.. a dead flatworm that is.. you probably won't want it decomposing in there.

Any way to get a closer shot? Could possibly be a tunicate colony. The white parts of it, do they look like polyps, or have any holes/tubes in or on them?

I gave it a poke, it kinda started to disintegrate so I removed it before it just pollutes the tank. Got a closer shot though, would be good to identify it anyway I guess.
No they seem to be almost like little tube like stones, not really polyp like.

Huh, looking at it from that shot, it almost looks like some sort of egg-sack
