I have two fire shrimps in my tank and I didn't know they are hanging out together until after the lights out last night. I used a flash light check out the tank. I saw both of them standing next to each other on top of the powerhead.

During the day, each fire shrimp hide under the rocks that are on each end/side of the tank. They never move out the rock unless during feeding time.

Do I have a pair? How can I make them come out during the day? Maybe I can add couple more fire shrimps in the tank?

Mine was fairly reclusive the first week....but I slowly coaxed him out further and further by target feeding shrimp/oyster chunks on a stick. Since doing this, I have seen him more often...even during the day.

I use a turkey bastor to spot feed them mysis shrimps and brine shrimp. Maybe I should entice them to come out of the rock work to get food from now on. I love their bright red color, the problem is they hide all the time and I can't view their beauty.
