I'm so happy on the second night of having them they paired! I read on liveaquaria they should be fed twice a day. Is that true?

NIce! the Pistol Goby is always great. 
You don't have to feed twice daily. Once every 2-3 days should be fine. Don't forget to let the pistol feed, also.
