So I want to put some GSP at the very tip of my rock...only problem is that it would be exposed during water changes. Would it be ok if I keep the lights off and splash it periodically while doing the water change? It would be exposed for like 5 mins tops

GSP is really hardy. It will be fine. I've exposed zoo's during water changes and never had a problem.

I don't even move my frag rack during water cahnges. It could be 10-15 minutes with the entire farg rack out of the water and they all open back up a minute or 2 after the water comes back up and the lights come back on.

I do splash the frags with water once or twice durring the cahnge though.
