Is it possible to remove an anemone from a rock? If so how?

There are a few different ways. One is to point a powerhead at the anemone until it releases. The other is to take a plastic bag with ice cubes and gently apply the bag to the foot of the anemone. Those are about the only safe ways I am aware of.

I've used Ice cubes as well..
Just apply it to the foot and the foot will retract... when it does use something like a credit card to help gently peel the foot off the rock.
This can take some time - but if you are careful and take your time you shouldn't have any problems.

The most effective way I have seen first hand, is to put ice on the foot, and when it lifts up part of the foot, spray it with a gently turkey baster till it lets go.

I've used an ice cube + a plastic spoon to "help" it out. DON'T RUSH IT, it will come off
