I'm not really the best at building stands..lol. I have a friend that will cut the wood because me+saw = Hospital..lol. I'm thinking for now just to get the frame done. I'm just not sure which is the strongest way to put it together. I just need a basic strong stand. It's going to hold my 15 gallon long tank. This is hard to explain but I'm unsure how to attach the wood. Has anyone documented a stand build with step by step pics? I would forever greatly appreciate the help...

i havent finished the thread but it may get you started in the right derection.

i like glue and poket hole for joints but you will need the right glue.
others will point out that this isent as strong as other methods but should hold up.
many diy stands call for 2x4's but 1x4''s should work if used correctly.
professor has a good diy stand & so does neanderthalman.
