yeah i would say aptasia too, i use pickling lime mixed with water thin enough to suck into a syringe and then squirt it directly in the mouth of them...
so far it has killed them instantly 3 out of 3 times

hope this helps!!

I use a syringe with boiling hot water. It's pretty satisfying. Heehee.
Works too.

if you do make sure none of the anemone breaks off or it will just regenerate.

I'd say it's a whole lot easier and safer to just pull it out with the bit of chaeto it's attached to rather than risk leaving part of it to split and spread. You won't hurt the chaeto a bit.

Sorry, we kinda crossed posts. I think that's the safest, easiest, quickest way.

The chaeto was new yesterday and I it in the front of my display but this afternoon I moved it to the back between the back glass and rocks. Now that I know I need to get rid of the hitch hiker I pulled it all out, do u think it excaped or reproduced?
If i just left it algae and it in a ziplock bag with just a lil water for a day would it die?
